Menu

The food at Le Meritage is Michael Farrell’s culinary style of Southern Coastal Cuisine. Chef Farrell grew up on a Virginia farm and spent many years traveling throughout the south, he developed a love for the many different flavors and styles that are used in southern cooking. His food has always reflected that heritage and he has combined this with the many local ingredients found only in this part of the country. From local gulf seafood, to Mississippi rabbit and game from Georgia, it’s all about fresh local and regional food. All menu items are offered as small or large portions, this will allow you to customize your dinner any which way you desire.

The Wine

The Wine

The wine program is very unique to Le Meritage. The wine selections are very diverse, fun and well thought out. Wines from all over the world are represented on our wine list and menu. Wines buy the glass are poured in 3oz or 6oz. portion, this allows our guests to sample many different varietals of wine while pairing it with our selection of small or large plates.

Le Meritage also offers an amazing series of wine dinners with the start of the annual French Quarter Wine Festival. Our series kicks of with the Grand Opening reception fallowed by 14 wine dinners and wrapping up with our “Grand Finale Party”

The Setting

Environment

Le Meritage is a combination of relaxed comfort meets contemporary feel. A tasteful ambiance of dark wood tables, crystal glasses, stainless steel cutlery and overstuffed chairs. We offer “al fresco” dining and beautiful views of the hotels award winning courtyard garden and pool.

We work very hard to minimize our impact on the environment. We support local and regional farmers and fishermen. We use Louisiana Seafood and strive to always use organic suppliers in our kitchens. The hotel is committed to using recyclable products and eco-friendly cleaning supplies.
